Welcome, my name is Leah Ramirez.
I am a multi-disciplined artist originally from Baytown, Texas. My passion for the arts, and pursuit of a design career is what drew me to Richmond, Virginia, where I completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2017 from Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon completion, I relocated to Austin, Tx to begin working for design firms specializing in high end residential, and multi-family projects throughout the U.S. and Mexico. These projects vary tremendously in terms of scale, design style, demographic, and budget. As of 2021, I have relocated back to my hometown to pursue a Masters of Architecture from the University of Houston, expecting to graduate May 2024.
I believe that design has an important responsibility both socially and to the environment. I seek to create immersive and authentic spaces that improve the user's quality of life with the goal to be constantly evolving. I value being a lifelong student and understand the necessary steps of asking questions and listening thoroughly to ensure that the way we shape the built environment around us is in alignment with the natural world. This site is dedicated to showcasing some of the work I have been involved with both professionally and academically.
