Under the guidance of Graduate Professor Patrick Peters, our class collaborated to create a pergola and outdoor composting restroom facilities. This endeavor entailed creating detailed construction plans, consulting with Grace Cavnar, the proprietor of Hope Farms, and suggesting different designs incorporating eco-friendly methods like composting toilets and solar power. Furthermore, thanks to a grant from the Green Mountain Energy Sun Club, we installed on-site battery storage, enabling Hope Farms to fulfill all its essential energy needs through renewable sources.
